Vertical is a Chicago based startup that works with general contractors, subcontractors, and title companies to deliver a simpler, more effective way to build and submit construction draw documentation.

Approach

Vertical was only a year old when they came to me with a need to rebrand along with an explainer animations to highlight key aspects of the software. My approach was to keep the animation concise, clean and engaging. I created a story using abstract shapes and lines that complimented the text animating on screen. Resulting in an informative animation that gets the highlights across in a fun interesting way.
